As sad as we are to leave our home in South Bend, we hope that you, our supporters, will join us after the first of the year at 602 E. Mishawaka Avenue to continue creating innovative alternative theater in our community.
Looking forward to a new year, we want to tell you how grateful we are for all your support in 2019. Because of you we have been able to continue to give meaningful theater experiences that our community might not otherwise experience- shows like Casa Valentina, The Inner Circle and The Frogs. And we continued to present monthly staged readings like Copenhagen, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Jitney and Radiant Vermin.
At the Acting Ensemble, we believe live theater has the power to transform us, to stimulate intelligent conversation, and to bring us together in ways that no other medium is able to. Your support has enabled us to:
- Promote the growth of over 100 performing artists and technicians.
- Provide over 45 performances, including StageWorks staged readings, MainStage full productions, Late-Night shows and original works.
- Engage over 1000 audience members in an intimate theater experience.
The volunteers at Acting Ensemble sincerely hope you will continue to demonstrate your support for our work by giving back on Giving Tuesday and throughout the month of December. Because we are a 501c3, any donation you make is tax free. Here’s how:
- Send a check, made out to Acting Ensemble, to PO Box 756, South Bend, IN 46624.
- Click on “Support Us” to donate through PayPal, or click on “Box Office” to donate to our building fund, using PayPal or your credit/debit card.
- Call us at 574-807-0108 and leave a message to arrange a donation.

Our goal is to raise $5000 for: Continued renovation at 602 E. Mishawaka Avenue, printing and advertising support and scholarships and show sponsorships. We are almost halfway there!
THANK YOU! And please remember the Acting Ensemble as you consider your end of the year donations. Here’s to 2020!!
