Come experience a night of music at Acting Ensemble! We’re kicking off 2026 with a musical Poets and Playwrights session! Oblates of Blues is a Chicago-style blues band formed by Notre Dame theology students and faculty, performing original work and cover songs from popular Blues artists.

Bonus! – our evening also will feature spoken words about the origin and history of The Blues! It’s a night you don’t want to miss!

We hope to see you there! Doors open at 7pm, and, like all our Poets and Playwrights events, it’s pay what you can at the door. Come support Acting Ensemble and have a fun night out at the same time!!

Acting Ensemble’s Poets and Playwrights series celebrates local writers of poetry, music, and plays in an intimate, accessible setting, made possible in part through the generosity of Chris and Dick Currey.
