A Staged Reading – Directed by Andrew Cora

Adam loves stories. That’s why he became a librarian, after all. But his past with stories goes deeper
than shelving books. When his intern Georgia finds an old play manuscript of his he donated by
accident, Adam’s past of worldbuilding and creation comes to life in ways he’d hoped to forget. Dev,
Grace, and Penn, three characters from the play, come to life in his head, and their presence quickly
becomes a battle for control over Adam’s mind. Through Georgia’s meddling, Adam’s past collides
with his present, forcing him to confront the man he was, and possibly still is, before he becomes a
victim of his own story.

THE GARY SIEBER POETS AND PLAYWRIGHTS SERIES IS DESIGNED TO SHOWCASE LOCAL WRITERS OF ORIGINAL POETRY, PLAYS, SONGS AND MORE. This is an important piece of the writing process, enabling the writer to hear their work in action, get feedback, and move to the next level in their writing. Acting Ensemble supports local artists by making their work accessible to audiences as a pay-what-you-can experience. The series is made possible in part through the generosity of Chris and Dick Currey and donations at the door.
