The Actor’s Ear

The Actor’s Ear: A Shakespeare Summer Ensemble
Shake Your Fear of Shakespeare This Summer!

M-F June 8- June 12 | 1 PM – 4 PM

Led by Dana Vagg, this unique camp introduces young actors to the power of Shakespeare’s
language through sound, listening, and ensemble storytelling, inviting students to approach
the text much as Shakespeare’s own actors once did — by discovering emotion and action
inside the words.
Designed especially for students new to Shakespeare, this camp uses games, vocal
exploration, and collaborative scene work to help actors discover how sound, rhythm,
imagination, and play bring Shakespeare vividly to life — and make it surprisingly fun and
accessible!
